The RoleAs Product Manager, you will oversee the development and technical support of a diverse portfolio of electrical products. Your responsibilities will include:• Leading product development in collaboration with manufacturing partners—defining technical specifications, drafting product briefs, and evaluating initial samples• Managing product testing and coordinating external compliance assessments• Developing packaging and labelling requirements, as well as instruction manuals and technical datasheets• Working closely with internal quality teams to investigate issues, propose improvements, and liaise with suppliers to resolve concerns• Ensuring product compliance with key regulatory and safety standards such as EMC, RoHS, and REACH• Maintaining up-to-date technical documentation and compliance records including WEEE and packaging dataThe CandidateTo be considered, you should have:A background in engineering, ideally with a focus on electrical or electronic systemsA strong understanding of manufacturing and quality processes, including regulatory standardsThe ability to identify product features and communicate their benefitsAwareness of electrical installation practices and environments (e.g., construction sites) would be advantageousExperience liaising with overseas suppliers or manufacturersProficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, and PowerPointThe PackageA competitive salary in the £40,000 – £50,000 range, depending on experience and technical capability.We are acting as an Employment Agency for this permanent role.
