POSITION: Lecturer – Electrical InstallationPAY: Academic Pay Scale Point 23–36CONTRACT: Full Time, Permanent (36 hours per week, 52 weeks per year)WORKING HOURS: Monday to FridaySTART DATE: ASAPLOCATION: Harrow Weald, North West LondonA further education provider in Harrow Weald is seeking an experienced Lecturer in Electrical Installation to join their School of Building Services, Health & Social Care, and Art. This role is ideal for a practitioner with proven teaching experience in FE or vocational settings, who can deliver high-quality theory and practical sessions to learners pursuing electrical qualifications. About the role: Lecturer – Electrical Installation · Deliver engaging, industry-aligned teaching and assessment across Electrical Installation courses· Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with curriculum and awarding body requirements· Support learners through practical workshop sessions and theory lessons· Monitor and report on learner progress and achievement· Maintain industry-standard workshop practices and a safe learning environment· Work collaboratively with the Section Manager and wider curriculum team· Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement· Full-time, permanent contract based in Harrow Weald The ideal candidate: · Proven experience as a Lecturer in Electrical Installation within FE or vocational education· Relevant industry qualifications (e.g., Level 3, 18th Edition, AM2 desirable)· Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent)· Confident delivering both practical and theory-based sessions· Ability to motivate and support learners of mixed abilities· Strong organisational, planning, and communication skills· Commitment to safeguarding and promoting learner welfare Benefits of joining: · Competitive salary on the Academic Pay Scale (pt. 23–36)· Opportunities for professional development and career progression· Supportive leadership and collaborative team environment· Term-time teaching environment with FE sector benefits Additional Information Please note: Sponsorship cannot be offered for this position Electrical Installation Lecturer role.
