Based in Bristol, this is a new opportunity for a SoC Architect to join our client, the world’s unparalleled market leader in wireless technology. The SoC Architect will join a team delivering the world’s most advanced SoC architectures for a huge array of applications from compute, to automotive, mobile and wearables. The team is expanding, and they seek a SoC Architect to undertake a highly visible role which will involve working with IP Architects, designers, system and software engineers to develop scalable SoC architecture and solutions. The role will have a lot of variety, influence and scope for innovation – it’s a great opportunity for a digital hardware expert looking to take on more challenge and responsibility in the field of system architecture. Requirements include: A BSc / MSc / PhD in Electronics Engineering or similar Several years’ experience within SoC/IP architecture or micro-architecture/ RTL design A strong foundation in the principles of digital IC design and architectural trade-offs Programming skills for modeling and automation (C++ / Python ideal) Excellent communication skills in English, written and verbal On offer is an excellent compensation package comprised of strong basic salary, bonus and RSU scheme.
