Key Responsibilities: – Lead and supervise a small engineering team, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to safety standards. – Utilise your expertise in both Mechanical and Electrical Engineering to maintain and improve process and packaging equipment. – Manage and work within a structured budget, demonstrating a proactive and solution-oriented approach. – Implement and promote a culture of Continuous Improvement, driving operational excellence. Skills and Experience Required: – Proven supervisory experience, with the ability to lead and motivate a team. – Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and above. – Extensive experience in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. – Continuous experience within the food manufacturing, FMCG is preferred. – A solid understanding of process and packaging equipment; experience with cooking kettles is advantageous but not essential. – Broad knowledge of electro-mechanical equipment, maintenance, and principles. – Demonstrable knowledge of safe-working practices and a commitment to Continuous Improvement.
