Job Description We have a fantastic opportunity for a Workshop Controller in the Southampton area with a Commercial Automotive Garage. As part of the team, you will be a key member at the heart of our operation.You will be required to run an efficient and professional operation to ensure complete customer satisfaction through the maximum utilisation of workshop facilities.This is a very hands on, exciting, busy and challenging role. The candidate must have: Strong management and leadership skills Excellent organisation skills with the ability to multi task and prioritise deadlines Experience of working to KPI’s, budgets and meeting targets Diligence Have a proven track record of managing a team of staff Experience in our automotive industry is essential You need to be pro-active, take pride in what you do, a willingness to learn and be engaged with training and an interest in pursuing a career within our industry. Workshop Controller Requirements: Ideally previous experience of working as a Workshop Controller, Foreman, Manager or Service Manager  To be confident, with a strong understanding of workshop processes and how to get the best from a team. Full driving licence. Any endorsements must be notified IT literate. Kerridge knowledge would be a distinct advantage Good numerical and administrative skills, with attention to detail to ensure accuracy of KPI’s Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8.00am to 6.00pm with ½ hour unpaid lunch break.  Every third Saturday 8 am to noon.
