We are working with a leading Kent based law firm who have been established for over 130 years, they are seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join their award-winning Residential Property team. You will play an important role directly supporting an individual fee earner on a one-to-one basis.Responsibilities Audio and copy typing all correspondence to include letters, legal forms (Oyez) and quotes Undertake administrative duties such as photocopying, and updating client details Filing correspondence and ensuring files are kept up to date Arranging appointments and liaising with clients Access and input data on to the firm's client case management system Work as part of a team with other secretarial colleagues, assisting with secretarial and telephone cover when required Requirements This role will suit an experienced Conveyancing Legal Secretary who is used to working within a busy residential property team Fast and accurate typing speed will be beneficial Strong communication skills and a confident, friendly and outgoing manner both over the phone and in person Having a close attention to detail A solid knowledge of Word will be essential Benefits Generous holiday allowance plus Christmas shutdown Additional holiday in line with length of service Discretionary bonus scheme Contributory pension scheme Life cover - 3x salary Reduced rate legal fees Membership to Private Healthcare Mental health support, including access to BUPA Monthly £20 gross wellness payment for physical and mental wellbeing Staff social events, including Christmas and summer parties Client and employee referral schemes This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled legal secretary to be part of a large department where they will support experienced residential property lawyers and assist in ensuring clients receive a high quality service, and that the transaction is as smooth as possible.
