HLTA / Cover Supervisor in Primary School Location: Cambridge Role: HLTA / Cover Supervisor Start: Immediate  Type: Full-time or part-time, Long-termAbout the Role: We are recruiting on behalf of a friendly and inclusive primary school in Cambridge seeking a reliable HLTA/Cover Supervisor to join their team. The role involves leading whole-class cover, supporting interventions, and contributing to the wider school community.Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging lessons when teachers are absent (work provided) Lead small-group interventions in core subjects Support behaviour inside and outside the classroom Follow safeguarding procedures and promote pupil wellbeing Work collaboratively with the teaching team What We're Looking For: HLTA qualification or proven class cover experience Confident leading groups or full classes independently Strong communication and organisational skills Ability to quickly build rapport with pupils A calm, positive and flexible approach What We Offer: A long-term placement with potential to go permanent Excellent agency support and regular check-ins Access to CPD and career development routes Competitive and transparent pay All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
