SEMH Learning Support Assistant (LSA) in Colchester Do you want to make a difference?  Do you love working with children or vulnerable adults and have a passion for special needs?  Do you have a social care background?  Or even had a personal experience supporting SEND or SEMH? If so, then this is the role for you  Protocol Education are looking to recruit a learning support assistant / teaching assistant to join a SEMH school in Colchester. You will be joining a great team that predominantly work with children who have a variety of social, emotional and mental health needs. Therefore, a desire to assist in this area is required, but no experience is necessary A friendly yet strong and resilient approach to teaching and learning, as well as the ability to quickly build up strong relationships and rapport with individual children is important. This is a long term, full time position so we are looking for candidates to be available 5 days a week between the hours of 8:15am - 4pm.  Full driving license and use of a vehicle is also a necessity as this school is difficult to get to via public transport. If you have a real passion for supporting children with special needs and think this role sounds right for you then please apply now All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
