Primary Teacher (KS1 & KS2)SEMH School - Bottesford Start: January 2026 | Temp to Perm | Suitable for NQTs/ECTsAre you an enthusiastic Primary Teacher with a strong understanding of Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? If so, this could be the ideal role for you.Tradewind Recruitment is delighted to be working with a dedicated SEMH School in Bottesford, who are seeking a committed Primary Teacher to teach KS1 and KS2 pupils. This is a full teaching role including planning, marking, assessment and wider responsibilities. The role is open to both experienced teachers and NQTs/ECTs wishing to grow within a specialist SEMH environment.The RoleAs the Primary Teacher in this SEMH setting, you will:Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons to KS1 and KS2 pupils.Adapt teaching approaches to meet a wide range of academic, emotional and behavioural needs.Provide a structured, nurturing and calm learning environment.Work closely with the pastoral and therapeutic teams to ensure holistic support for each child.Use resilience, patience and creativity to re-engage pupils who may have experienced disrupted or difficult educational journeys.Take responsibility for planning, marking and reporting in line with a full teaching position.What We're Looking ForQualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.Strong understanding of SEMH needs and/or experience supporting children with additional or complex needs.Ability to teach across KS1 and KS2, adapting work to individual levels.A patient, nurturing and child-focused approach.Strong communication and behaviour management skills.Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).Due to the rural location, own transport and ability to drive are essential.Working HoursMonday-Thursday: 08:30 - 16:30Friday: 08:30 - 16:00 (early finish)Perks & BenefitsBreakfast and lunch provided daily for all staff.Early finish every Friday at 4:00pm.Temp to perm pathway with a clear route to a permanent role.After successful probation, you will receive 5 days of wellbeing leave to use during the academic year.Access to specialist SEMH and SEND training and CPD.Support from a dedicated Tradewind consultant.A friendly and experienced team committed to high-quality SEMH provision.If you're passionate about making a real difference and helping young learners thrive, we would love to hear from you.
