They are a no nonsense, quietly confident, entrepreneurial high achievers. Engineers work remotely across the UK and have full autonomy over the work they seek, win, design and deliver. The owner of the business expects high standards but in return you will be rewarded with a profit share of all completed work paid twice annually (June & Dec) and a minimum of 40 days holiday.This is a start up business but in 2 years they have secured some major UK clients and will be gunning for more work.For their full benefits package scroll down – lots to see. About the RoleYou will be expected to seek new business opportunities leveraging your expertise to give confidence to the client, deliver weekly progress updates and ensure communication is always of the highest standard.Despite being remote you will kick the day off with a teams meetings and there will be a handful of check-ins from the owner throughout the week. This is a role for individuals who are confident in their ability to hit the ground running and manage their time accordingly.The company focuses on OffShort design work and large industrial structures. But they are open to expanding operations for the right individual. The key requirements for this Structural Engineer role are: Deliver structural designs across a range of building types and materialsUndertake detailed analysis and prepare technical reports, drawings and specificationsLiaise with clients, contractors and wider project teams to ensure successful deliverySupport project work from concept to completion, meeting quality, cost and programme targets Experience required for this Structural Engineer role are: BEng or MEng in Civil or Structural EngineeringMinimum 2 years’ post-graduate experience in structural designStrong knowledge of design codes and industry standardsProficiency in software such as Tekla, Tedds, MasterSeries or similarExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage time effectively and work to deadlines Package and Benefits of the Structural Engineer role: Location Based Salary (reflective of living costs)Uncapped Profit Share on Projects over £2000 (avg monthly £1200 bonus)Fully remote - £500 contribution to home office costs.28Days Holiday + Bank Holiday, Birthday off, Christmas week off.5Years Service additional 2weeks sabbatical.10Years Service additional 4weeks sabbatical.Professional membership fees coveredStructured CPD support and chartership mentoring (£250 for training)£500 to attend UK / Overseas conferences.Regular team events and a collaborative working culture (1-2 fully expensed weekends away)
