Year 4 Teacher - Stevenage Academics are on the search for a Year 4 Teacher. Teaching Position: Year 4 Teacher Location of school: Stevenage, Hertfordshire Pay scale: MPS1 to MPS6 Contract: Full time, term time only The successful Year 2 Class teacher will: * Be an enthusiastic, reflective, and innovative teacher. * Have excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues, parents, and external partners. * Demonstrate a strong understanding of effective teaching strategies and the National Curriculum. * Be committed to creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all children feel valued. * Have a good understanding that behaviour is a form of communication and experience/knowledge of using strategies to support this * Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have an excellent level of competency in English (spoken and written) and Maths. * Able to commute to Stevenage. Key responsibilities include: * Planning and delivering engaging, exciting lessons to meet the diverse needs of your class. * Assessing and monitoring pupil progress, providing constructive feedback, and supporting their development. * Adapting learning via scaffolding and support to suit the needs of the class * Building positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues. * Contributing to the wider school community through involvement in extracurricular activities or school initiatives.
