Corporate Credit Manager

Our client, based in Coventry, is currently recruiting for a Corporate Credit Manager on a permanent contract.The position is due to start as soon as possible, dependent on notice and the salary available is £45,000 - £50,000. This is a hybrid position with travel to the office required two days per week and our client is proud to offer some great benefits including a generous company car scheme, 25 days annual leave and an annual bonus.Duties will include (but are not limited to): Reviewing financial statements, credit reports, and payment history to evaluate the risk of extending credit to new or existing customersEstablishing and enforcing credit limits for new and existing customers within agreed mandatesAnnually managing and reviewing all corporate customers to ensure compliance with credit policiesPreparing and finalising credit dossiers for submission to higher level approvers such as Credit Committees at local and HQ levelsWorking with other business areas such as Sales and Finance to produce detailed credit dossiersChairperson for the weekly corporate underwriting meeting involving other stakeholders in the business such as sales director, head of direct sales, head of indirect salesEnsuring Credit Underwriting Guidelines are followed including KYC and AMLMonitor and manage credit limits and exposures to minimise risk while supporting business growthSkills, knowledge and expertise required:3+ years' corporate credit evaluation role, with a personal mandate to approve credit limits ideally in automotive or consumer financeCorporate credit management or a similar financial role, with commercial credit underwriting experience preferredFamiliarity with UK/FCA regulations and best practices in credit-risk managementRewards and benefits:26 days annual leave plus bank holidaysHybrid working (2 days per week in the office)Company car schemeGenerous pension contributionAnnual bonusWorking hours:37.5 hours per weekMonday - Friday, 9am-5pmPlease note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.James Andrews is acting as an employment agency and business in relation to this role.At James Andrews Recruitment Solutions we try to respond to all applications personally, however, due to the high volume of applications this is not always possible.
