Job Title: Social Worker (Children)Location: BarnsleyWorking Hours: HybridRate: £40 per hourLiquid Personnel are seeking an experienced Social Worker to work within a busy Duty & Assessment Team, based in Barnsley. Responsibilities: As an Experienced Social Worker within the Duty and Assessment Team, you will be responsible for undertaking Child & Family Assessments, conducting Section 47 enquiries, and participating in Child Protection and Child in Need meetings. You will also have experience in undertaking initial court and Public Law Outline (PLO) work. Your role will involve assessing the needs of children and families, managing risks, and working collaboratively with other professionals to ensure the safety and well-being of children and young people. As a Social Worker, you are required to: Hold a Social Work England registration. Be eligible to work in the UK. Hold a full UK licence. Social Work Qualification, degree or equivalent. At least 2 years’ experience as a social worker within children’s services.
