The Role This Audit Senior opportunity is ideal for a qualified professional seeking the next step in their career. Based in Plymouth, with hybrid and flexible working arrangements, the role offers the chance to take ownership of a portfolio, deliver audit assignments to a high standard, and build lasting client relationships while enjoying a supportive and forward-thinking culture. Key Responsibilities of the Audit Senior: Lead on the planning and completion of audit assignments, ensuring high-quality documentation and compliance. Undertake substantive and analytical audit procedures, often on-site with clients. Prepare statutory financial statements and identify key risks or issues for senior review. Mentor and support junior team members, fostering their professional growth. Key Requirements of the Audit Senior: ACA/ACCA/CA (or equivalent) qualified with strong technical knowledge of UKGAAP/IFRS. Proven experience auditing clients across a variety of industries. Ability to plan, execute, and finalise audits with minimal supervision. Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with experience coaching others.
