Our client, a leader in the fresh produce industry, is looking for a Production Planner to optimise production and supply chain processes, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. In this role, you will work closely with the operations team to adjust schedules based on changing demands and unforeseen challenges, while managing the flow of materials and products. Collaborating with the Logistics Manager, you'll help ensure timely, cost-effective deliveries that enhance customer satisfaction and support a more sustainable future. Ready to make a difference?The RoleAs a Production Planner, you will be responsible for developing detailed production schedules in both weekly and daily planning systems, ensuring a smooth balance between supply and demand by monitoring and managing stock levels. You will input essential data into their ERP system and raise production orders for seed cleaning, growing, and packing. Additionally, you'll create warehouse picks, monitor raw material usage, and ensure accurate records are maintained.You will also be tasked with maintaining the MRP spreadsheet, recording production activity timings in the ERP system, and scheduling orders for customer delivery.
