If so, we want you to be part of a dedicated and compassionate team About the Higher Level Teaching Assistant Role: As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting students with complex needs, including those with Autism, ADHD, and SEN. You will work closely with teachers and specialists to deliver tailored learning experiences, helping students thrive in an inclusive educational environment. What we’re Looking For from a Higher Level Teaching Assistant: * Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant in a school setting. * Experience supporting children with complex needs, including Autism (both verbal and non-verbal), ADHD, and Special Educational Needs (SEN). * A patient, empathetic approach to working with children who may have a range of learning and behavioural needs. * Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive, supportive relationships with both students and colleagues. * A commitment to ensuring all children have access to high-quality education and the tools they need to succeed. Key Responsibilities of a Higher Level Teaching Assistant: * Provide one-on-one and group support for students with complex needs. * Assist in creating and implementing personalised learning plans tailored to individual student needs. * Work closely with teachers to deliver differentiated learning activities. * Support students in both classroom and outdoor settings to encourage engagement, independence, and self-confidence. * Maintain accurate records of student progress and contribute to assessments and reports.
