The company are looking for an experienced and motivated Embedded Firmware/Electronic Design Engineer to join their tight-knit, collaborative team. This is more than just a technical role as their Senior Engineer you will be able to steer and shape the future of their products. Your ideas and voice will be heard and valued. Why Join? * Financially robust company with a long-standing history and future-focused strategy * Be part of a small, agile, and passionate team where your contributions truly matter * Full lifecycle involvement — from concept through to manufacture * Flexibility that supports your life: 4 days on-site, 1 day remote * Bonus scheme and generous pension package * Real career progression as the business grows What You’ll Be Doing * Leading and delivering embedded firmware and electronic hardware design projects * Contributing to the direction of new products and technologies * Designing, developing, and testing embedded systems using Embedded C/C++ * Creating robust analogue, digital, and mixed-signal electronic designs * Developing schematics and PCB layouts using Altium (or similar) * Collaborating with cross-functional teams and on-site manufacturing throughout the development process Skills include:- * Proven experience with Embedded C/C++ for real-time systems * Strong background in electronic circuit design – analogue, digital, or mixed-signal * Hands-on experience with PCB layout and design tools (Altium preferred) * A self-starter who is comfortable taking ownership and directing technical decisions * Someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about innovation If you’re looking for a role where your expertise can make a real impact and where your voice is not just heard but actively sought, this is the opportunity for you.
