Pulse AHP’s Speech and Language Therapy Team is currently recruiting an experienced Band 6/7 Adult Community Speech and Language Therapist to join the team for a full-time/part-time role based in the North London area. These roles will be in the North London area providing Speech and Language therapy services. To be successful in this role you MUST have at least 1 years’ experience working exclusively with a population. Position : Band 6/7 Adult Community Speech and Language Therapist Location : North London Hours : Full-time/Part-time Duration : 3 months with the possibility of extension Essential skills: Recent Band 6/7 Adult Community Speech and Language Therapist experience of at least 12 months Proof of competency We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Adult Community Speech and Language Therapist to join our dynamic team at the Parkinson’s Unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and management of adult patients with acquired dysphagia and communication impairments. This position is available now and the pay rate for this role will be up to £34 per hour. Main responsibilities of this Speech and Language Therapy vacancy: Independently assess, diagnose, and manage adult patients with acquired dysphagia and communication impairments. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and evidence-based practice. Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care. Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers to enhance communication and swallowing Essential requirements of this Speech and Language Therapy vacancy: Recognized degree in Speech and Language Therapy or equivalent. Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Proven experience in the management of adult acquired dysphagia and communication impairments. Experience working in a community setting is essential.
