Job Title: Social Worker – Sefton – Learning Disabilities Location: SeftonRate: £35.00An exciting opportunity became available for a Qualified Social Worker in the Learning Disability & Autism Team, within Adult Social Care. What will your responsibilities be? In this role, you will manage the current Transition allocation list and address any backlog of referrals to support the service, ensuring timely assessments for young people transitioning to Adult Services. The position follows a hybrid working model, with a mix of office-based work and working from home. As a Level 3 Social Worker, you will be an experienced practitioner handling complex cases, including risk assessment and management. You will be recognized by your peers as a reliable source of knowledge and expertise, demonstrating a critical understanding of various social work intervention theories and models. Additionally, you will oversee the teaching and assessment of social work students during their practice learning placements and may be required to provide evidence in court for care proceedings.
