They are a firm that have an extensive growth plan that has seen them go through extensive expansion with much more to follow over the coming 3 years. You will be joining an established design team at a great time of breaking new ground. The position is very project mechanical design oriented, working in a team environment. Full projects are taken from concept, right through development and design for manufacture. The role will involve frequent use of solidworks, drawing up Bill of Materials, designing with the view of minimum wastage and efficiencies etc. Essential criteria for this role of Mechanical Design Engineer (Project Design):A minimum of 3 years' experience within Mechanical Design Engineering on similar productsA competency in 3D design - Solidworks, Pro Engineer / Creo, Solidedge or InventorA relevant 3rd level qualification in an engineering related subject is preferred, however more related design experience will be consideredStrong communication and people skills If this role is of interest; or if you have a relatable skillset that might match other similar vacancies; then please
