You will lead a culture of health, safety, and environmentalpliance while driving efficiency and profitability. In this role, you will manage all aspects of plant operations, ensuring stability and smooth processing. You will also lead and develop a multidisciplinary team, maintaining training andpetence requirements for all direct reports.pliance with various standards will be central to your responsibilities, alongside managing budgets, forecasts, and CAPEX proposals to optimise financial performance. Regular liaison with regulatory bodies will be required, ensuring timely reporting and implementation of improvement actions. Additionally, you will identify and deliver site improvement projects in collaboration with the maintenance team.What you'll need to succeed You should be a strong leader with proven experience of managing teams and driving operational performance in a process-driven environment. You should have excellent people management skills, with the ability to build a positive culture, develop talent, and maintain high standards of safety andpliance. A solid understanding of waste handling and resource management is important, as you will oversee feedstock acceptance, processing, and ensurepliance with environmental regulations. Analytical thinking andmercial awareness are essential, as you will interpret data, manage budgets, and identify opportunities for efficiency and improvement. Strongmunication skills are required to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels, alongside resilience and adaptability to manage change. A full UK driving licence is essential, and experience inpliance and safety management would be advantageous.
