Senior Management Accountant

Armstrong Knight are very pleased to be working with a forward thinking and progressive company. They have an expanding network of UK sites with employees and sites across the UK and they are now looking for a Senior Management Accountant. What will the role involve? Completion of accurate and timely monthly management accounts to include all appropriate schedules, accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations required in preparing monthly reports Reporting and analysis of monthly cost variances Reconciliation of balance sheet control accounts Intercompany reconciliations Maintain fixed asset register Maintain and control the sales and allocation of balances Reconciliation of Balance Sheet accounts to quarterly payments and allocation of balances in Sage Complete a monthly reconciliation bank credits recorded in the cash book Agree daily cashbook reconciliations Monthly Auction Summary Profit Share reports VAT Returns for all companies Assist Financial Controller in entry/authorisation of on-line payments Complete the credit card summaries and post them to the accounts system Assist in the year end audit process Treasury and cashflow accounting Liaising with the wider accounts team to ensure they hit their targets in completing the underlying ledgers Skills Required: Suitable candidates must be ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified Have experience working in a similar senior finance role Have strong communication skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail Be logical with excellent problem-solving skills and be competent in Excel (intermediate/advanced level) Experience using Sage 200 would also be an advantage Benefits: Child Care Vouchers Workplace pension Free onsite parking Holiday allowance – 30 days (inclusive of 8 days public holidays effective) Social events / supporting local charities 01702 567 302
