My client is a well-known telecommunications company dedicated to providing innovative solutions and exceptional services to their customers. With a focus on technological advancements and customer satisfaction, they are invested in shaping the future of communication. As they continue to expand their operations and enhance their services, they are seeking a talented Business Analyst with a background in telecommunications to join their team.
As a Telecoms Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and optimizing operational efficiency within the department and you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse business processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop strategies to enhance my client's products and services. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of technology, ideally from within a telecoms company, coupled with strong analytical skills and business acumen.
Key Responsibilities for the successful Business Analyst candidate will be;
– Conduct a comprehensive analysis of business processes, systems, and technologies.
– Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
– Utilize data analysis tools and techniques to extract insights and identify trends, driving data-driven decision-making.
– Develop and maintain detailed project documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, and project plans.
– Lead cross-functional teams in the implementation of process improvements, system enhancements, and new product launches.
– Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs), providing recommendations for optimization and continuous improvement.
– Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
Experience needed;
– Proven experience as a Business Analyst within the telecommunications or Information Technology industry.
– Deep understanding of various telecoms and/or software technologies, networks, and systems.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable insights.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting findings to stakeholders.
– Familiarity with project management methodologies, such as Agile and Waterfall.
– Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques, including requirements elicitation, process modelling, and data analysis.
– Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SQL, and data visualization tools (, Tableau, Power BI).
– Relevant certifications (, Certified Business Analysis Professional – CBAP) preferred.
