Reporting to the Reliability & Planning Engineer, this role plays a key part in ensuring our assets run efficiently, reliably, and safely.This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys developing others, improving systems, and taking ownership of machine reliability - all while enjoying a consistent day shift and strong company values.What You'll Be DoingLeading the execution of the site's 52-week PPM schedule.Documenting all maintenance activity using our CMMS system and ensuring accurate parts usage.Identifying reliability improvements, implementing approved changes, and contributing to continuous improvement.Ensuring critical equipment is maintained to support uninterrupted production.Upholding site safety, compliance, and engineering standards at all times.What We're Looking ForNVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering and NVQ Level 2 in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).Minimum 3 years' experience in engineering within a food manufacturing or similar regulated environment.Proven experience leading or mentoring a small engineering team.Strong knowledge of engineering best practices, including PPM, root cause analysis, and reliability-centred maintenance.Familiarity with coating and frying equipment is advantageous.Good communication skills, PC literacy (Excel, Word), and a methodical approach to documentation and safety.Why Join Us?£47,500 starting salaryMonday to Friday - 07:00 to 15:00 - no shifts or weekendsOpportunity to lead and develop others in a structured, supportive environmentJoin a well-established, reputable site within a leading UK food groupLong-term career growth opportunities in reliability or engineering managementReady to take the lead in reliability?
