They primarily serve SMEs, owner-managed businesses, and growing enterprises across various sectors including manufacturing, technology, construction, and professional services.Job DescriptionServe as a Responsible Individual (RI) signing off on audit reports and taking ultimate responsibility for audit qualityLead, manage, and develop the audit team, providing technical direction and mentorshipBuild and maintain strong client relationships at senior stakeholder levelOversee complex audit engagements from planning through to completionEnsure all audit work complies with relevant regulatory standards, firm methodologies, and quality control proceduresIdentify and manage audit risks effectivelyDrive business development initiatives and contribute to practice growthCollaborate with partners and other service lines to deliver integrated solutionsStay current with evolving audit regulations, standards, and industry trendsContribute to the strategic direction of the audit practiceThe Successful ApplicantACA/ACCA qualified with current RI statusMinimum 8+ years post-qualification experience in audit, including 3+ years at senior management levelProven track record of managing diverse audit portfolios and complex engagementsExcellent technical knowledge of UK GAAPStrong understanding of current regulatory requirements and audit quality frameworksDemonstrable experience in business development and client relationship managementExceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentCommercial awareness and strategic thinking capabilitiesWhat's on OfferPrivate medical insuranceHealth cash planEmployee assistance programmePermanent health insuranceWellness benefits, including corporate rates at a nearby gymComplimentary parking25 days annual leave with opportunities to buy and accrue moreLife assurance coverage (4x salary)
