Your newpany Hays is working closely with an established Newry-based main contractor in their recruitment of a Senior Quantity Surveyor/Estimator. This privately owned contractor works across a range of sectors including education, conservation, residential, healthcare andmercial. Due to continued growth, they now require a Senior Quantity Surveyor/Estimator to join the business.Your new role Reporting directly to the MD, you will have full responsibility for themercial performance of the business. You will manage a Junior Quantity Surveyor, who will assist you in overseeing all tendering and post-contract duties. This role is ideally suited to someone who wishes to have an influence at board level and work across a range of roles in a small contracting business.What you'll need to succeed The successful candidate will have a degree in Quantity Surveying and a min 10 years' experience in the industry. You will have a proven track record of working for a main contractor in the delivery of a range of building projects. You will be contractually proficient and work closely with the MD in the delivery of all projects. What you'll get in return On offer to the successful candidate is apetitive package that includes: basic salary, car allowance, pension, healthcare and generous annual leave.
