Job Description New Directions Education is looking to recruit caring, reliable and adaptable Primary Teaching Assistants to work on a flexible, supply basis across a range of welcoming primary schools in Sefton.This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced practitioners who are passionate about supporting young learners, creating nurturing classroom environments, and making a positive impact across different school settings. As a supply TA, you will have the flexibility to choose the days you work, while gaining experience across a variety of year groups and school settings. As a Supply Primary TA, you will: Provide general classroom support across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Work with pupils on a 1:1, small group or whole-class basis to help them stay engaged and achieve their learning goals. Support pupils with a range of additional or emerging needs, helping them feel confident and included. Assist the class teacher with preparing resources, managing behaviour and maintaining a positive classroom environment. We are looking for someone who is: Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualified (essential). Experienced in supporting children in a primary school setting (essential). Willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check and provide recent employment references. A First Aid qualification is desirable but not essential.
