Job DescriptionElectrical EngineerLocation: ManchesterSummaryAn industry-leading mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and low carbon consultancy with expertise across many sectors including Healthcare, Education, Residential, Commercial, Infrastructure, Sustainability and Public Buildings are looking to take on a Senior Electrical Design Engineer in their Manchester office.As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be a vital part of the team and have a high degree of autonomy. You should be a well-organised, flexible, driven, forward planner with the ability to deliver work to a high standard and to tight timescales. You should also be able to take on the ability to manage the electrical engineering aspects of other more junior members of the team assisting on projects.You will also get to work on a variety of technically challenging and interesting projects across varied sectorsKey responsibilities include:- Raise/promote the level of technical excellence relating to electrical engineering within the team- Over time, develop the ability to become a point of contact for key clients- Help generate repeat business through customer care of existing clients- Be client facing and involved in all stages of the projects from inception to completion.- Producing drawings and specifications- Producing calculations or guiding others to complete themExperience & Qualifications- A Degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering (Chartered or working towards) / Candidates with HNC or HND with suitable design experience will also be considered.- Minimum of 3-4 years experience of design in building services, post qualification completion- Experience of Software design using - Microsoft suite of programmes, Relux/Dialux, Amtech, Revit- Knowledge of British and European Standards, Building Regulations documents etc.- Professional Membership (CIBSE, IET)- A good understanding of HV/LV systems- Knowledge of integration of embedded generation- An understanding and specification of incorporating various renewable technologies- Working knowledge of BREEAM- An appreciation of mechanical engineering to be able to cover both disciplines at meetings would be desirable.- A strong willingness to learn and a desire to develop new and existing skillsWhat's on offer?- Competitive pay of between £35,000 - £42,000- Enhanced sickness/maternity/paternity pay schemes- Excellent growth and career opportunities- Generous Annual Leave entitlement with the opportunity to buy and sell leave- 36.25 hours agile working week- Interesting and technically challenging projects- Recruitment referral bonus scheme- Electrical vehicle scheme- Eye care vouchers- Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)If you are interested in joining a business that invests in their people and each member of our staff is fulfilled to be the best they can be then get in touch to apply for this Senior Electrical Engineer RoleNavartis are an equality and diversity recruitment agent and employer.Service advertised by Navartis are that of an Employment Agency/Business
