The Role Exciting opportunity for a Junior Assistant Quantity Surveyor with a leading construction and fit-out organisation. This role is perfect for a motivated individual looking to gain hands-on experience in quantity surveying and commercial management. As the Junior Assistant Quantity Surveyor you will work alongside experienced quantity surveyors, you will be involved in cost estimation, procurement, contract administration, and financial reporting on a variety of projects. Key ResponsibilitiesAssisting with cost estimation, budget preparation, and tender submissionsSupporting the preparation of valuations, payments, and final accountsAssisting with procurement of subcontractors and suppliersMaintaining accurate project records and reportsLearning to interpret drawings, contracts, and specificationsSupporting senior team members in ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budgetAbout You Educated to degree level in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related subject (or due to graduate this year)Enthusiastic and eager to learn with a genuine interest in construction and quantity surveyingStrong numeracy and analytical skillsGood attention to detail and problem-solving abilityConfident communication and interpersonal skillsIT literate (Excel, Word, Outlook)Full UK driving licenceWhat We OfferFull training and mentoring from experienced professionalsClear career progression opportunitiesSupport towards professional qualifications (e.g., RICS, CIOB)A supportive and collaborative working environmentCompetitive salaryShould you wish to discuss, please do not hesitate to call RGB Recruitment Exeter EX5 1FY and ask for Nicky Harris.
