Pathology Locum Consultant Needed In South England

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic department with a strong focus on sub-specialisation, modern facilities, and a supportive work environment. Role Highlights: Scope: Diagnostic surgical pathology, multidisciplinary team meetings, and potential involvement in autopsy services (negotiable). Facilities: State-of-the-art laboratories with digital histopathology, voice recognition software, and opportunities for remote reporting further down the line Team: Join a team of 13 consultant histopathologists and 2 specialist registrars. Workload: Approximately 40,000 histopathology cases annually across two sites. Schedule: 10 PAs (8 DCC, 2 SPA) with a flexible timetable—no on-call commitments. Ideal Candidate: FRCPath or equivalent, with full GMC registration and CCT in Histopathology (or within 6 months of completion). Strong experience in routine histopathology reporting and specimen dissection. Interest in sub-specialisation (desirable but not essential). 🏠︎🏠︎Standard hospital accommodation is likely to be available at a cost of a maximum £450 per month🏠︎🏠︎ Negotiable pay rates depending on experience P.S.
