Robert Half are recruiting a Financial Accountant on a permanent basis with a large organisation based in West Wiltshire. This role would suit a newly qualified Accountant seeking their first move into industry.The roleThe Financial Accountant will work closely with the Financial Controller to manage all financial reporting and tax related matters. The role will involve but not be limited to:Statutory reporting under IFRS and UKGAAP.Liaising with auditors and external advisers.Ensure compliance with tax legislation.Go to person for tax related queries including VAT, PAYE and expense allowances.Maintain and improve internal financial controls and processes.Processing corporation tax.Group reporting and consolidating reports.ProfileThis role would suit someone with the following skills and attributes:ACA/ACCA newly qualified, ideally seeking a first or second move from practice.Strong technical reporting knowledge (IFRS and UK GAAP) and understanding of VAT/Tax.Excellent communication skills.Package£50,000- £55,000 base salary.Bonus scheme.Flexible working hours (core hours, early finish on a Friday).Hybrid working: 1-1.5 days from home.26 days AL + birthday off + bank holidays.Private healthcare and dental plan.Onsite well being treatments.Volunteering days.Free onsite parking at the Melksham office.Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
