Job description We have a fantastic and exciting opportunity for a nursery practitioner to join a friendly team on a full time basis They are a standalone day nursery, 2 minutes away from Biggleswade centre. The nursery is set up in a beautiful old Victorian house and is best described as a 'home from home'. They believe in building trusting and positive relationships with the children and parents, by going above and beyond and treating each child as an individual. With 2 gardens, one for their under 3's, with a contained areas for their babies, and a separate area for their pre-schoolers, it allows the children to be free flow between indoors and outdoors as they please. What we can offer you (benefits): •£10.50 - £11.85 per hour (depending on qualifications) •1 well being day off per week - 36 hours split over 4 days per week. •Free Parking •Company Pension •Workplace assistance programme •Staff Discount •Uniform provided •Employee of the month What we need from you: •Level 2/3 qualification in childcare or higher OR at least 2 years experience in a nursery setting •Commitment •Passion to deliver outstanding childcare •Ability to work within a team •Broad knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding Your duties will include: •Taking charge of a key group of children •Deliver rich learning opportunities and exceptional care that helps young children to develop •Plan and provide effective care, teaching and learning. •Safeguard and promote the health, safety and welfare of children •Work in partnership with colleagues, parents and/or carers or other professionals to meet the individual needs of the children •Make accurate and effective use of assessment reflecting the needs, interests and stages of development of the individual children.
