Our staff work with students across all year levels and programs. We are looking for applicants who have experience helping students with learning difficulties, specific learning disorders, and disabilities in a secondary school setting. The ideal candidate will be flexible, friendly, and have strong interpersonal skills. As a Level 3 Education Assistant – Special Needs, you will support the delivery of planned educational programs, working under teacher direction to provide assistance to individual students and small groups. You will contribute to a collaborative and inclusive classroom environment, supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional development. Experience working with students who present with learning and behavioural challenges, mental health and medical needs, or limited English literacy (EALD) is highly desirable. Training and experience in implementing Direct Instruction programs will also be well regarded.
