Science TechnicianImmediate startExcellent rates of payPart time work patternSTEM Specialist SchoolSuitable for an experienced Science Technician Great opportunity for a Science Graduate with lab experience looking to develop a career in schoolsA Science Technician is needed in a Mixed Secondary School & Sixth Form in South London.This will be a part time long term Science Technician position with scope to go permanent.The timetable will be 3 days a week for this Science Technician post and the school is flexible on what days they can offer.Responsibilities for this Science Technician role will include but not be limited to:Assisting and preparing practical lessons alongside the Science TeachersEnsuring equipment and materials are safely stored when not in useGuiding staff and pupils in correct Health & Safety policiesMaintaining and repairing all resources when requiredKeeping track of what is out of stock and making the necessary orders when neededDisposing of hazardous waste in a safe mannerThe rates of pay for this Science Technician position will be between £82.14 to £130 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.
