Role Overview:An established and highly rated national law firm is seeking a Civil Litigation Lawyer to join its expanding Consumer Litigation team in Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity to handle a varied caseload of civil disputes, including subrogated recoveries, housing disrepair, debt recovery, and enforcement matters. The firm offers full retraining for solicitors from a personal injury background, a strong career progression structure, and an uncapped commission scheme rewarding every successful case. Candidate Profile / Experience Needed: Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive (minimum 2 years’ PQE) Proven experience in managing a varied civil litigation caseload Strong knowledge of Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) Excellent drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills Confident advising clients and conducting hearings Ability to prioritise and manage workload under pressure Experience using Proclaim case management system advantageous What’s On Offer: Salary up to £55,000 (dependent on experience) Hybrid working – 3 office / 2 home days after probation Uncapped commission scheme with no thresholds or caps 23 days’ holiday, rising to 26 with service, plus buy-back options and your birthday off Private medical insurance, employee assistance programme, and on-site gym Supportive, collaborative working environment with active social calendar
