Science Teacher Key DetailsPosition: QTS / ECT Science TeacherLocation: WalsallSalary: £175 – £250 per day (dependent on experience)Contract Type: Long-term supplyStart Date: January 2026Key Stages: KS3 & KS4 The RoleA supportive secondary school in Walsall is looking for a committed Science Teacher to join them on a long-term supply basis from January 2026. You’ll be delivering high-quality Science lessons across KS3 and KS4, helping students develop strong scientific skills, confidence, and curiosity.The role involves planning and delivering engaging lessons, supporting practical work safely, assessing progress, and contributing to the wider department. Whether you’re an experienced teacher or an ECT looking for a strong start, you’ll be joining a collaborative team that values creativity, consistency, and clear expectations. The CandidateThe ideal teacher will bring energy, structure, and a passion for science. You should be:A qualified teacher with QTS (ECTs welcome to apply)Confident teaching Science across KS3 & KS4Strong in behaviour management and classroom routinesAble to deliver engaging theory and practical lessonsCommitted to raising achievement and supporting pupils of all abilities The SchoolThe school has a positive and inclusive ethos, with a supportive SLT and a Science department focused on consistency, well-sequenced curriculum plans, and high-quality practical delivery.
