The Pharmacy team at Pulse are currently recruiting for a Band 8a Pharmacist in Savernake Marlborough. The successful Pharmacist will be required to work full-time, 7.5 hours, 1 day a week. This role is available to start ASAP; the pay rate for this job is up to £39.00 per hour.   Position: Pharmacist Banding:  8a Location: Savernake Marlborough Hours:  Full-time Payrate: £34.00 – £39.00/h Start Date:  ASAP Duration: On going About the role: As the sole pharmacist assigned to the ward, your responsibilities will include reviewing medication charts to verify the safety of prescriptions. You’ll provide guidance to the locum GP and other prescribing staff on clinical matters and prescription-related inquiries. Additionally, your duties will encompass conducting medication reviews, reconciling medicines, and offering patient counseling among other tasks. Essential skills: GPhC registered. Relevant Pharmacy qualification. 2 Years NHS experience. Good knowledge and understanding of disease states and their treatments obtained through the completion of a degree course and the clinical diploma (or equivalent experience). Experience of working in a clinical role Good knowledge of all the medicines legislation and national standards.  Experience of working in a multidisciplinary team Experience in at least one of the following – community health and social care, primary or secondary care setting. Experience of training and mentoring pharmacists and pharmacy technicians and/or other healthcare professionals.
