Science Teacher – January 2026 Start | Birmingham A vibrant Birmingham secondary school is looking for a committed Science Teacher to join them from January 2026. This is a great role for someone who enjoys delivering engaging, practical science and can hit the ground running in a supportive, well-resourced department. Key DetailsPosition: Science TeacherLocation: BirminghamKey Stages: KS3 & KS4 (including Triple Science)Start Date: January 2026Daily Rate: £175–£250 (dependent on experience)Contract: Full-time, long-term supply The RoleYou’ll plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons across KS3 and KS4, incorporating Triple Science where required. You’ll take responsibility for assessment, behaviour management and maintaining strong classroom routines. The department has modern labs, capable technicians and well-established schemes of work, giving you everything you need to deliver consistently strong lessons. The CandidateWe’re looking for a confident, motivated teacher who can quickly build rapport with pupils and contribute positively to the wider school culture. You should bring strong curriculum knowledge, good behaviour management and a willingness to support intervention sessions where needed.
