With a strong and growing presence in EMEA and appetite for new jurisdictional growth, this is an opportunity to join a business serious about regional expansion and strategic impact.Job DescriptionThe In‑House Legal Counsel will be:Leading, negotiating and drafting purchase, sale, distribution and service contracts across the Middle East.Advising on and executing market entry into new jurisdictions: researching regulatory regimes, establishing legal entities, ensuring corporate maintenance.Overseeing public procurement matters and ensuring compliance with local bid regulations across MEA.Managing distribution/service agreements, supply‑chain legal risks and third‑party relationships.Coordinating with local counsel in relevant countries to support in commercial, dispute resolution, and regulatory investigations.Providing strategic legal input to senior regional leadership on risk, compliance and growth initiatives.Maintaining corporate governance, entity management and legal filings for jurisdictions across MEA.Supporting internal stakeholders (sales, operations, commercial) with legal advice to drive business outcomes while mitigating risk.The Successful ApplicantThe In‑House Legal Counsel should be:A solicitor or equivalent with 5+ years' PQE (post‑qualification experience) in corporate/commercial law.Arabic fluent (speaking and writing) and comfortable operating across the Middle East.Familiarity with MEA region regulatory environments, or at least exposure to working with local counsel in those jurisdictions.Strong contract drafting, negotiation and commercial legal skills (distribution, service, procurement).Experience of establishing entities, managing international corporate maintenance and local regulatory entry.Comfortable with dispute resolution strategy and coordinating with external counsel.What's on OfferFully remote role.Competitive salary of £75,000‑£90,000Opportunity to drive legal strategy for growth in the MEA region at an established global business.Be part of a team culture grounded in innovation, integrity and collaboration, with exposure to senior leadership and cross‑regional work.You will be the key legal interface for MEA and can build the region's footprint, working with a global team and local councils across many jurisdictions.If you're an experienced In‑House Legal Counsel, apply now or contact Michael Bailey for more information.
