Job Title: Social Worker – Assessment TeamLocation: BirminghamRate: £33.30 per hourLiquid Personnel is seeking a qualified social worker to join a dynamic Assessment Team based in Birmingham. What will your responsibilities be?As a Referral and Assessment Social Worker, you will be responsible for conducting initial assessments to determine the needs and risks of children and families. You will handle Section 47 enquiries, which involve investigating cases where there is reasonable cause to suspect a child is suffering or likely to suffer significant harm. Additionally, you will manage Section 17 assessments to identify children in need and provide appropriate support services. Your role will also include participating in duty systems, where you respond to immediate concerns and referrals, ensuring timely and effective interventions. Through these responsibilities, you will work collaboratively with other professionals to safeguard and promote the welfare of children.
