They are seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a child on a 1:1 basis. The child has emotional needs and global developmental delay, and is currently working at a lower Key Stage 1 level.You will be responsible for following the child’s EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan) and delivering tailored support in phonics and basic maths.Key Responsibilities:Provide 1:1 support to a child with SEN, focusing on emotional regulation and academic development.Deliver phonics and basic maths activities in line with the child’s EHCP.Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to monitor progress and adapt strategies.Create a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment.Build positive relationships with the child to encourage confidence and independence.What you'll need to succeed Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).Phonics trained – essential for this role.Proven experience supporting children with special educational needs, particularly emotional and developmental challenges.Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to learning support.Strongmunication and teamwork skills.What you'll get in return A rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a child’s education.Supportive school environment and professional development opportunities.Receive £250 worth of vouchers when you refer a friend.
