Facilities Support Manager

Are you an experienced Facilities Manager? Do you have previous engineering experience? If so, TXM Recruit are working in partnership with a high-profile railway client who are looking for a Facilties Manager to join their team located in Cambridge or Colchester on a 3-month contract basis paying £230 per day (PAYE) or £305.44 (umbrella rate). Key Accountabilities: Help manage the day-to-day activity of the facilities management helpdesk and term maintenance contractors.Management of Property contracts, ensuring activity is performed to prescribed technical, environmental and safety standards and that customer service is at the forefront of everything we do.To adhere to the ISO 55001 Asset Management System & Annual Accreditations Standard.Assist in maintaining the mechanical and electrical and the fabric elements of the estate in compliance with corporate, statutory, health and safety policies, regulations, and procedures, through rigorous contract management.Identifying Faults and Auditing stations when on siteEnsure facilities contract administration is effectively delivered within the company’s asset management reporting system.Being able to project manage small projects from start to finish while keeping stakeholders updatedSupport the Asset Management team in the analysis of trends and optimisation of asset maintenance policy. What we require from you? Good interpersonal and communication skillsCommercial and financial understanding and knowledgeKnowledge and understanding of contract management.Detailed knowledge of safety regulations (particularly CDM)A degree or equivalentUnderstanding of rail industry issues in relation to constructionMembership in a property professional body (BIFM or RICS) or working towards.Basic knowledge of buildings managementFull Driving LicenceHolder of NEBOSH health and safety qualification (preferred) Main Details: Job Title: Facilities Support Manager Pay Rate: £230 per day (PAYE) or £305.44 (umbrella rate) Contract: 3 Months (on going) Ideal Location: Bishops Stortford (able to travel between Colchester and Cambridge) This is a fantastic opportunity to join an exciting, friendly, and fast paced team, delivering essential services.
