This position, starting in November 2025 and extending through Easter 2026, offers the chance to inspire students and cultivate their understanding of the business world.The Role:As an iMedia Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional computer science education to students in a supportive secondary school environment. Your responsibilities will include:- Planning and delivering engaging IMedia lessons that align with the national curriculum- Instilling a love for business through innovative teaching methods and practical applications- Assessing students' progress and providing valuable feedback to support their growth- Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation- Collaborating with fellow Business Studies Teachers and school staff to enhance teaching resourcesRequirements:To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:- Proven experience as a Creative IMedia Teacher, dedicated to fostering business understanding- Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring students in business- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, colleagues, and parents- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse learning needs of students- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certificationWorking with The Education NetworkAs a Creative iMedia Teacher, you will have the support of our agency in finding this exciting placement with the esteemed secondary school in Durham.
