ASD Teaching Assistant – Wokingham – April Start Are you passionate about supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)? A lovely school in Wokingham is looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic ASD Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team within their Resource Base. About the Role: As an ASD Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with children in the resource base, providing one-to-one support and tailored interventions to help them thrive in their educational journey. You will be instrumental in helping children build social, emotional, and academic skills in a nurturing and structured environment. Key Responsibilities of ASD Teaching Assistant: * Provide personalized support to children with ASD, helping them engage with the curriculum and develop key life skills. * Support teachers in creating an inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and independence. * Monitor progress and assist with assessments to track individual development. * Promote positive behaviour and social skills through structured activities and interventions. * Work closely with parents and professionals to ensure the child’s needs are met.
