Applications are invited for a ST3 level doctor who specialises in Acute Medicine to join a busy, innovative and friendly team at a Trust based in the South East of England. This post is fixed term to cover maternity leave within the Same Day Emergency Care Unit, within Acute Medicine. The post holder will be expected to work 5 full days per week (including 7 day rota) and they will have an opportunity to participate in on-going audit. The Trust has been rated ‘Outstanding' in 2020 for being caring and effective. In the same year they launched their ambitious ‘Building for our Future' programme. This once in a lifetime programme aims to repair, redevelop and expand the hospitals, transforming the environment in which they provide care for generations to come. The aim of the Emergency Medicine Academy is to provide a structured training platform in order to develop Non-Training Middle Grade Doctors. They would like NTG doctors to have acquired skills which are matched to the RCEM curriculum at the level expected from a ST3 RCEM Trainee doctor.The successful candidate should have the following:- Sound basic clinical skills- Competent in management of emergencies- Excellent written and verbal communication- Experience in delivery of teaching and education. - Faculty on local or national courses- Full GMC RegistrationFULL GMC registration is ESSENTIAL to be considered for this post. For candidates who reside abroad you must have completed the necessary language test (IELTS / OET / NARIC) before applying.
