If you're passionate about fleet underwriting and want to work in a role that combines technical skill with relationship management, this could be the perfect fit.A bit about the job:As a Trading Fleet Underwriter, you'll be aligned to a portfolio of brokers and customers across the Midlands, working to profitably grow their commercial book of business. You'll underwrite new business, renewals and MTAs, and use data insights to deliver whole customer solutions. You'll be out on broker visits regularly, so flexibility to travel is essential. This role sits within our SME team, and you'll play a key part in delivering our strategy and building Aviva's reputation as the insurer of choice.Skills and experience we're looking for: Previous fleet underwriting experience is essential (property & liability experience is desirable but not required) Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess risk and present effectively to brokers and customers Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with confidence in face-to-face meetings Ability to work collaboratively across a large, complex organisation Good knowledge of FCA regulations and relevant legislationWhat you'll get for this role:Our purpose - with you today, for a better tomorrow - is a promise we make to our colleagues too.
