Production Operative (Counterbalance Licence) Maidstone (outskirts – own transport essential due to location and start time) £12.21 - £13.50 per hour DOE (initially paid hourly through Pearson Whiffin Recruitment) Temp to Perm Are you looking for a hands-on role with genuine career progression opportunities? Do you hold a valid Counterbalance Forklift licence and enjoy working in a practical, fast-paced environment? We are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join a busy manufacturing site based in the Aylesford area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is happy to get stuck in, thrives in an industrial setting, and is looking for long-term stability working for a company who believe in looking after their employees. The role: Operating machinery and supporting production processes within an industrial environment Safely working at height and in confined spaces as required Loading, moving, and storing materials using a Counterbalance Forklift Ensuring production runs smoothly and assisting colleagues across different areas of the site Maintaining high levels of health & safety in a dusty, noisy, and sometimes dirty environment with varying temperatures Hours: Monday to Friday, 6am – 3pm Opportunity to work until 4.30pm if desired Further overtime possible if desired The right candidate will: Hold a valid Counterbalance Forklift licence Be comfortable working in an agricultural/industrial environment where conditions can vary Be happy to work at height and in confined spaces Have a good level of physical fitness and enjoy working in a ‘hands on’ role Bring a positive, reliable attitude with the desire to learn and grow within the business What’s on offer: A competitive hourly rate, negotiable and dependent on experience and skillset The opportunity to secure a permanent role offering long term stability Genuine career progression opportunities within a well-established and supportive business Working for a business where you will be treated like an individual, not just a number – this company genuinely take care of their employees Varied role with the opportunity to get involved in multiple areas of Production Interesting company with an excellent reputation globally If you are reliable, safety-conscious and keen to progress, we want to hear from you Apply today with your CV for immediate consideration.
