The Pharmacy team at Pulse are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Pharmacy Technician in Smethwick. The successful candidate will work full-time, Monday to Friday, 09:00am – 17:30pm. This role is available to start ASAP; the starting pay rate for this job isup to £29.00 per hour all inclusive.   Position: Pharmacy Technician  Banding:  6 Location:  Smethwick Hours:  Full-time Payrate:  £23.00 – £29.00/h Start Date:  ASAP Duration:  3 Months  Role Requirements: Position of MSO/Governance lead Vacant – Planned recruitment post MMUH (8b grade) – post responsibilities being spread over wider team, some to the technical team members. Cover is required to undertake some of the existing teams less specialist technical responsibilities. MMUH Project work – with the increasing level of work effort for MMUH & complexities of Pharmacy programme. Cover is required to free up staffs time to undertake the work, by covering some of the less technical aspects of their day-to-day roles. Essential skills: Experience of undertaking role of Medicines. Management Pharmacy Technician within a hospital setting. (Drug taking histories, Patients own drug assessment, ordering, counselling). Labelling and dispensing experience and knowledge of JAC computer system.
