Description I am looking for a Transport Planner with Aimsun experience that wants to specialise in the modelling software to join a specialist SME Transport Planning consultancy. You will be working to create mobility models using Aimsun and help the Associate Director deliver them to both residential & commercial developers and Local Authorities across the country. You will be joining a close knit office that all work in the office every day. They are a social office that regularly go on social events. They are a consultancy with a fantastic reputation across the country and their pipeline of work is strong and only getting stronger. You may also get the opportunity to work on travel plans, transport statements and swept path analysis alongside the Aimsun Modelling work Transport Planner Essential Requirements Delivery of Aimsun Models Delivery of Transport Assessments, Statements and Travel Plans Delivery of feasibility studies Assisting in the delivery of the Value for Money assessments and economic appraisals Analyse, write and present results and reports Attend meetings with clients and other stakeholders Work as part of a team to develop solutions Support the Transport Planning Team by taking leadership and responsibility for the delivery of its tasks and projects and continue to develop your professional skills as you progress your career. Transport Planner Required Qualifications & Experience: Degree or equivalent in Geography, Maths, Planning or related subject (Masters' Degree in Transport Planning desirable) Working towards or chartered with a relevant professional body Delivery focussed Ability to work independently and in the team Strong analytical and report writing skills Enthusiasm to be part of growing the business Travel Flexibility Working in a multi-disciplinary consulting environment If interested in this position but would like to discuss the role further before formally applying, please contact Taylor Smith at Calibre Search Manchester.
