Special Needs Teaching Assistant – Milton KeynesNewstaff Employment is hiring experienced and compassionate Special Needs Teaching Assistants in Milton Keynes to join our dedicated supply team. This rewarding and flexible role involves working across schools and educational centres in Leighton Buzzard and Bedfordshire, supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs. Location: Milton KeynesSalary: £15.00 – £16.00 per hourWorking Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm or 8:30 am – 1:00 pm (term time only)Job Type: Temporary / Supply Please note: Applications submitted via third-party websites (except jobfindr & Reed) are not processed. To ensure your application is reviewed, please apply directly through our official website at Key Responsibilities Provide tailored support to pupils with special educational needs (SEN). Assist teachers in delivering lessons and classroom activities. Encourage engagement, learning, and emotional development. Support children 1:1 or in small groups to meet individual targets. Promote a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment. Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff. Essential Requirements Proven experience working with SEN pupils in an educational setting. A relevant childcare or SEN qualification (preferred). Strong understanding of SEN support and child development. Positive, caring, and adaptable attitude. Right to work in the UK. Ability to provide two professional references.
